The 101 Warriors and its predecessor organizations having been serving the families of players and cheerleaders in the greater Conejo Valley for over 30 years. As an organization we are here to mentor and support the children of our community. We encourage all of our players and cheerleaders to believe in themselves, to push the limits of what they think is possible, and to work hard to capture their goals in life. We are a non-profit organization and proud members of the Gold Coast Youth Football Association.
Dear 101 Warrior Families,
Today, Nov. 16th, we were informed that the Gold Coast Youth Football League has decided to cancel its planned 2021 Winter tackle football season. Like most of you, league leadership was hopeful they could pull off a Winter season for all of our players. But the GCYFL Executive Board made the determination that the safest and smartest thing to do today, based on the continued uncertainties surrounding the pandemic, was to cancel the season and start preparing for the 2021 fall season. The 101 Board of Directors supports the league's decision and will immediately begin preparing for our normal free off-season skill and player development training which will begin in mid-February (subject to state and local guidelines).
We wish you all the best this holiday season and look forward to seeing you all in the New Year… Stay safe!
Sincerely,
The 101 Warriors Board of Directors
